Affordable Luxury Tuscan Villas on Airbnb (100% Dog-Friendly)

Luxury Tuscan Villas on Airbnb

What could be more fabulous then renting a whole villa in the Tuscan hillside, whether for a few days or a few weeks? Especially if it’s large enough to hold a whole family or a whole crew of friends, ready for summer days spent by the pool and evenings feasting on good Italian wine and delicious food by a fire place? While there are plenty of super-expensive options available for rent, I’ve instead dug out 3 highly recommended villas on Airbnb, all for €200 per night or less.

Eagle’s Nest has been perfectly named, with breathtaking Tuscan views available both from the house and the pool, which is exclusively for the use of guests. A completely detached, independent house, it has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, sleeping up to 5 guests. It’s close enough to Lucca, Pisa and Florence for a day visit, or alternatively head to the beaches at Versilia. That’s if you can leave your own private swimming pool and beautiful gardens, plus a delightful outdoor BBQ area. Antica Torre in the Florentine Hills (From €180/night for 6)

Antica Torre is simply gorgeous! Dating from the twelfth century, it was originally the chapel and then the castle tower of Cercina, but has now been fully restored and is a separate dwelling at the Old Farmhouse Cercina. Cercina is these days a small town in the Florentine Hills surrounded by typical Tuscan olive groves, and is only 20 minutes from the centre of Florence.

Consisting of three bedrooms and two bathrooms (plus an extra toilet), there’s also a large private garden and terrace available just for guests of the tower, and an open fire place. The Farmhouse is a family-run establishment, and it’s possible to visit their trattoria, where you can taste typical Tuscan cuisine made with products directly from the farm, and take part in the farm activities.
