Paris is the city of romance. Gorgeous old buildings, summer picnics with rosé in the parks, visiting the flea markets, an aperitif before dinner at a footpath café, watching the lights on the Eiffel Tower after dark. There’s so much to do in Paris! Paris is also a city of many grand hotels, but the prices, oh la la!! Instead, turn to Airbnb to find the perfect romantic apartment for your stay, without breaking the bank. Here are three pretty gems to consider, all for $100 USD per night or less.

Have only one day to spend in Paris? Here’s what to do in Paris in just one day
Loft with a Terrace in Quartier des Batignolles (17e)
During the warmer months of the year, there is nothing more tempting than having your own terrace at your Parisian loft apartment. To breakfast on a baguette and coffee at the outdoor table, or take in the warm summer air with a glass of chilled champagne from your own fridge. This loft apartment is located in the 18e, mid-way between the Champ Elysées and Montmartre, with a good bakery just around the corner and an organic store and supermarket open late 50m away. It’s also close to Lines 2 and 3 when you want to head further afield to explore Paris. Inside your will find a loft-style bedroom (up a ladder), along with a small kitchen and a separate bathroom. There’s a computer with unlimited internet access, plus a special guide book with recommendations from the owner, Raphaëlle. With a minimum stay of 3 nights, it’s available from $72 USD per night (plus Airbnb service fee, $33 USD cleaning fee and security deposit).
Romantic Hideout in La Butte aux Cailles (13e)
France has such a unique quintessential rustic style, and this studio flat epitomises so much of that charm! From the hand-written welcome sign, the red and white tiles in the kitchen, the gilded mirror in the bathroom, and the lacy bedspread to the red geraniums flowering in the boxes at the large windows! This flat is also hidden away on a cobble-stone lined street in a neighborhood far from the tourists, with a public laundry on the street, authentic Parisian style bistros, many bars and peaceful parks and squares. It’s also a 1 minute walk to 2 metro stations with access to 3 different lines, meaning easy access for sightseeing all over the city. Plus there’s a separate kitchen, bathroom and wi-fi. Suzette is your host, and the room is available with a 2 night minimum, from $66 USD per night (plus Airbnb service fee and a $32 USD cleaning fee).
Views of the Eiffel Tower from a Room of Your Own (16e)
Just some warnings up front: this private room in the 16e is quite cosy, is located on 7th floor without an elevator, doesn’t have a private toilet (just a sink and shower in the room) and doesn’t have a full kitchen (just a small fridge and a boiler for tea and coffee). But it does have a view of the Eiffel Tower – how much more romantic can you get!! It’s also located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, is just a 2 minute walk from the Passy Metro on Line 6 and is a 15 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower itself. It’s also not much more expensive than a hostel, starting from just $56 USD per night (with only the Airbnb service fee extra, no cleaning fee or security deposit), with a minimum stay of 3 nights.
